Dear Alumnus,

It is a great pleasure for me to inform you that Prof. N.C.Saha,Director of our Institute desires to have a OPEN HOUSE DISCUSSION with PG alumnus to share his views about the improvement of IIP work culture and IIP's vision to build the BRAND image of the Institute. This is the long awaited issue that we all have been talking time to time informally. So its a welcome move for we alumnus to learn about the implementation of few new activities which have been initiated at IIP recently. This was learnt during my recent telephonic discussions with the Director.

He has also informed me that many changes are happening at IIP for the overall improvement of infrastructural facilities and it seems that, there is too much happening!, A global training programme has also been commenced which is being organised by the Institute in association with IOP,UK and sponsored by WPO.More than eight countries are participating into this programme. I was excited to note that for the first time,the Institute has commenced a on-line training programme with IOP,UK.

Director- IIP is also the Chairman of our IIP Alumni and this would be Prof's Saha's first direct interaction after taking over new positionis . So he would like to share the vision with us openly and listen to our ideas too as we are directly into the industry.

I personally feel that this would be an excellent opportunity for all of us whch was long awaited by most of us.Hence, we should not miss this opportunity. Let us join hands and strenghten our Institute which is considered to be the Centre of Excellence for packaging in India. We, all will be proud to be a part of this.
