Job profile for the post of Packaging Design Engineer at AIME
The Packaging Design Engineer will be part of the New Product Development team
in Arc International Middle East, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE and will be responsible for:
1. Providing technical and project support in the development of good quality
and cost effective packaging for glass tableware products
2. Will be independently responsible for establishing and managing a studio for design and development of packaging prototype
3. Ensuring permanent contact with different internal and external agencies to create, develop and establish new packaging on time
4. Support the generation and maintenance of the item codes and BOM in SAP to assist planning, purchase, ware house and production teams
Qualifications
• Engineering degree holder.
• Post Graduate diploma in Packaging Technology
• Minimum 4 years experience in similar manufacturing industry
Requirements:
• A good background of packaging and printing with the ability to design and develop packaging for glass tableware.
• Good working knowledge of packaging design software like ArtiosCAD.
• Computer literate and good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Excellent analytical problem solving skills
• Experience of project management issues.
• Results-oriented, motivated self-starter who is able to manage multiple tasks with minimum supervision
Desired:
• Design experience of packaging, a desire to become involved in the planning and implementation of complex projects.
• Working knowledge of ERP package preferably SAP
• Proven history of innovative solutions and handling multiple projects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
